I wanted to take a break from drawing today...soo....i decided to get crafty!

I wanted one of these for a while now but didnt want to dish out 50 dollars for it so i decided to make one! i made it out of a pizza box so i kind of had to paint it over. ANYWAYSS, it took me a whole day but its done!

can't wait to mount it on our wall (im talking to you Wacho Wayes! i don't think Edric will like the hot pink so much..)

Anyways, this was a good waste of time!

*NOTE: i had to make do with 2 pizza boxes so this isn't scaled to true size. its like...1/3 the size of a real deer.

so my roommate Rachelle started drawing luchador masks so i decided to draw a hunky luchador P:
this was a collaboration with my roommate rachelle (once again). As you can see, we really love each other. ho yah, so we were watching 'grand torino' while drawing this so there is a random Clint Eastwood and a ginger priest. :3

so here's what i've been working on for the last couple days. I REALLY wanted to draw something Indian related, so i chose an indian dancer.

a couple weeks ago, my friends and i went to the San Diego Comic Con and we were able to meet many artists such as Jin Kim, Glen Keane, John Nevarez, Chris Sanders and Steve Silver. Steve silver was doing some portfolio reviews so we decided to have our work evaluated. He mentioned that I should work on dynamic posing and volume. I tried to work more on both these things. I am not really sure if my sense of volume improved but i think the posing is a little better? maybe? Any suggestions?

oh yah, umm... i dont know if i completely like the colours i've used...again, any suggestions?

did this when there were no customers. feel like my colouring is improving although it took me ages to colour. FYI, he is wearing a yellow overall like the workers at wonderland. those poor souls have to wear that everyday. D:

NOT caricatures, just random faces i wanted to draw. Asians are fun to draw =)
cowboy! this took me forever to finish!...forever meaning like 5 hrs. the hardest part i would say was drawing the hands so that they actually looked structurally correct. there are still some things i want to fix but im proud that i actually stuck to it and finished it. *pat on the back :)
Ahaha, so i came back from my break to find my co-workers Ed, Freddy helping this girl create a monkey character so she could have it henna'd on her back. FUN. so basically Freddy drew the monkey's head, Ed drew the body and me and my other co-worker Jenna drew the little bunny and snake and the other little bits.

So i started this new tradition for myself where, whenever i buy a new sketchbook, I will make cool designs on the cover....just for fun.

This cover was designed after I read/ looked through Justin Bua's book. He had this graffitti type feel to all his drawings and they inspired me to create this cover :)

My line work really sucks..even more so in this drawing, i barely drew at all in korea so im really rusty.
